Left-Leaners Don’t Believe There is a Terrorist Threat

“The mindset of the Left blogosphere is that there’s no real terrorist threat out there. We wouldn’t have any serious problem if we’d just do something different — raise the minimum wage or reduce the number without health insurance”

Journalists Kidnapped

Yahoo Gives Top Billing to Hizballah

A few minutes ago, Yahoo news gave top billing (under and Associated Press byline) to a story entitled “Hizballah Claims Win as Lebanese Return.” An article with a much smaller hyperlink was entitled “Bush Says Israel Defeated Hezbollah“.
In the pro-Hizballah (“Hizballah claims…”) story, the following snippets were reported as news:

“Israeli soldiers reported killing six Hezbollah fighters in four skirmishes in southern Lebanon after the guns fell silent, highlighting the tensions that could unravel the peace plan.

How often before the ceasefire did AP report how many Hizballah fighters were killed? Not many? This supposed news reporting deliberately places Israel in a bad light, not even attempting to report just how those skirmishes may have been instigated.

“There were no reports of Israeli strikes on cars — a sign Israel did not want to risk rekindling the conflict. But at least one child was killed and 15 people were wounded by ordnance that detonated as they returned to the south, security officials said.”

Once again, a clear implication that if the cease fire is broken that it will be Israel’s doing, but no indication of what Hizballah may be doing to violate the cease fire. Is it because more is expected from Israel in the way of humanity? Is it a tacit admission that Hizballah fighters are expected to be beasts? Maybe, in light of today’s kidnapping, the reporters don’t dare say what Hizballah is really doing…?

Middle-Eastern Men Kidnapped for Hoarding Cell Phones

They had a pretty good plan to sell as many non-traceable (pay as you go) cell phones as possible.  They lied about what they were doing at first, then admitted what they were doing, but didn’t know why…  Are they innocent?   Read More…
